I had exactly the same issue ...
Try to upgrade your methods in your Users model like this:
public function getRememberToken()
{
return $this->remember_token;
}
public function setRememberToken($value)
{
$this->remember_token = $value;
}
public function getRememberTokenName()
{
return 'remember_token';
}
