Postgres could not connect to server

After I did `brew update` and `brew upgrade`, my postgres got some problem. I tried to uninstall postgres and install it again, but it didn't work as well. This is the error message. (I also got this error message when I try to do `rake db:migrate`) ``` $ psql psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"? ``` How can I solve it? "database"=>"riy_development", "pool"=>5, "username"=>nil, "password"=>nil} ``` Finally I've found a solution. ``` sudo mkdir /var/pgsql_socket/ sudo ln -s /private/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432 /var/pgsql_socket/ ``` This solution is a little tricky, but it works.
