you don't need the queryString the second time, because you "told" the preparedStatement the String with this:

```
pstatement = connection.prepareStatement(queryString);
```

this would be the right way:

```
 pstatement = connection.prepareStatement(queryString);
 pstatement.setString(1, search);
 rs = pstatement.executeQuery();
```
